What is the hardest thing that you have ever had to do in your life?

For me, I thought it was coming out of the closet as a gay man to my loved ones.

Unfortunately, that is not even close to the hardest thing that I have ever done.

But, it is the realization that I am an ABUSER and I became LOST IN SHAME.

It is realizing that you have only one chance at life and the life you have been living is has been lived as a lie and in fear.

It has all been secrets and lies and that I have messed up not only my life, but the single most important person to me, my husband, Christopher  

You realize that you are what you never ever, EVER wanted to become.
 

I am an abuser and I am getting help.

I used to live with fear and now that I understand myself more, I am choosing to live with love.
